Challenge

Vocational students needed more than theorythey required hands-on experience, community support, and metrics to prove the viability of their ideas.

Disparate starting points

Students came from 23 different vocational majors with minimal exposure to entrepreneurship. We had to create a shared baseline in mindset and skill within days.

Limited facilitation capacity

Teachers and mentors were eager but needed a clear playbook, coaching scripts, and tools to keep teams accountable week-to-week.

Proof of impact for stakeholders

Government partners required transparent evidence on learner progress, business viability, and program ROI for future funding decisions.

Our Approach

We paired design sprints with rigorous facilitation support so students could ideate, test, and sell products within a structured timeframe.

  1. Discover

Interviewed school leaders, employers, and alumni to map required competencies. Built learner personas and success indicators aligned with national curriculum goals.

  2. Design & Enable

Created a modular curriculum covering problem discovery, prototyping, marketing, and finance. Delivered mentor onboarding kits, weekly coaching scripts, and feedback loops.

  3. Deliver & Amplify

Facilitated hybrid workshops, ran marketplace simulations, and tracked sales dashboards. Ended with demo days and reporting packs for government stakeholders.
